Listen to this interview from 2 years ago. The Giants and Falcons have both improved since then to get to where they are today, facing off in 2 weeks:http://history.giants.com/video/8097089/FOOCH+GIANTS+BLOG+WITH+PAUL+SCHWARTZ+%2810%2F12%29 This interview could almost fit this year's Giants. Coach Coughlin winning "close games" is what the rest of this season is all about. Osi and Strahan stepped up huge 2 years ago, now that the present D line is as healthy as it has been, it's their turn to play like a super unit and as All-Pro's. Special Teams was a slight problem 2 years ago and again today, shore that up, you can do it. A 3rd receiver for Eli, this Big Blue squad needs one. Smith, Boss and then who? Manningham is back and can be that guy. Has Hicks hit the Rookie wall and is Barden still not NFL ready? Moss is mentioned in this interview, could he be the guy who's time is now? The Giants are in a "good position" right now knowing that if they just take it one game at a time, when all the dust settles, a play-off spot is a strong possiblity. Unfortunately, unlike the 2007 NFC, the 2009 Saints and Vikings are pretty scary right now, even Dallas is once again red-hot like 2 years ago. GMen don't focus on anything else but beating the Atlanta Falcons in 2 weeks! Do you find this valuable? |
