Week # 7 Cardinals!
Oct 23 2009, 8:25 AM EDT | Post edited: Oct 23 2009, 8:25 AM EDT
Giants host the Arizona Cardinals this week. Giants are 7 point favorites going into the game. The Giants are coming off a memorable/forgettable loss at the Saints. This is the second week in a row that the Giants are facing a team coming off a bye week. The Giants will be tested again this week in the secondary by the Cardinals who are talented at WR and have a wily veteran QB to get those WR's the ball. The Giants will need a much more aggressive perfomance from the Defensive line to offset the secondary issues. The Giants will also be tested on Offense has the Cardinals are #1 against the run this season. If the Giants can't find a way to run against the Cardinals, Easy E and the other Steve Smith will have to find a way to exploit the Cardinals weakness which is defending the pass. The 1986 Super Bowl Champion Giants wii be honored before the game. Do you find this valuable?

MORE B.S.: NJ.com reports that Bill Sheridan admits he should have blitzed more vs. Nawlins. Isn't that like saying, "the Browns 6-3 victory over the Bills was a tough game to watch"? Sheridan vows to blitz more from here on end. Chase Blackburn states that Sheridan loves to pressure the QB. Huh? Me thinks BS got an earful from his employer this week, however upon further review, Billy-boy has been a LBer coach most of his career at the college level and I still wonder why he wanted to be up in booth this season and why he and Osi had a tiff and why he made ZERO adjustments when our D was getting embarrassed most of the game. Can he make the transition and learn how to coordinate all three levels of defense, game plan against an opponent and change scheme on the fly? I'm having my doubts, but time will tell. Gets another big test this week. GO GIANTS! Do you find this valuable?

The Giant coaches are fine and the Saints coaches aren't all that. GMen11, you hounded Eli all off-season too. Coach Sheridan is his name, not B.S. or Billy-Boy. I thought you coach? When he turns it around who you gonna knock, your Mom?

West coast teams do not travel across the country and play well against the Giants. The Cards really roughed up the Seahawks and looked good doing it. Should be a dogfight of a game Sunday night!:

Look who's back.......Rockin & Rolling, "Robby-boy" Roble, Raring to go, fresh off his audition with Dancin with the star-ry eyed. Guess they filled their quota of nude cyclists huh? You have a lot of catching up to do cupcake while you were away TRYING to find your calling. So peel off them there leotards, stay awhile and start reading some good Giant posts from old and new members. I sure did miss the way you searched U-tube and hit the enter key. (talented boy that "robby-boy" Get er done!)
Eli is 0-1 with a QB rating of 44 this season vs teams above .500 and Bradshaw, aka Clinton Portis is um better thus far than um..........Clinton Portis. [you said to remind you of my rediculous prediction]. LOL
You are correct for the first time this season "Robby-boy"; I am a HS coach. A LBers coach promoted to DC two years ago; perhaps that's why I can be suspect of the difficulties in making that transition. OK now, if you are going to stay and occupy the moderator title, please stop the mother jokes; this is not a children's site and if I follow your lead, you will lose your virginity for sure and the woman who bore you will undeservingly blush. Lastly if you are not going to "flat leave" us again, you MUST stay betwen the lines when you color WETPAINT things or purchase new crayons. Good to have ya back Robby-boy.....we missed you!

The interesting question posed on ESPN was who needs this game more. If the Giants lose they'll still be in first place. If the Cardinals lose they are probably still playing for the division but will lose ground to the 49ers. Both teams need this win, the Giants to maintain a cushion within the division. The Cardinals need to win if they hope to repeat has division champs. Roble makes a good point, that west coast teams have not fared well in Giants Stadium. IMO, this game should not be close, a very angry Giants team that should be fired up enough without the pregame celebration honoring the '86 Championship team awaits the Cardinals. Should be a great game, get your popcorn ready! Do you find this valuable?

Nice game analysis:

They say watch for a shoot-out but it very well might turn into a defensive battle with Big Blue on top!
