SSteinberg14	Eli best QB ever?? Apr 23 2009, 7:40 PM EDT Eli will join Phil Simms and yes Jeff Hostetler as the most beloved Giants QB's for winning the Super Bowl. But before I call Eli the best it would be nice if he could win a playoff game at home. His performances vs Carolina and Philadelphia were less then stellar. The loss to Philly was heart breaking because once Arizona beat Carolina the Giants bath to the Super Bowl should have been a cake walk.. There was no way Arizona was going to win in sub-zero temperatures. Eli is a lot like Plaxico.. When he's on he's great, when he's not you want to break a hole in your TV set. Best ever, maybe in the future but certainly not now.. Y.A. Tittle, Charlie Conerly, Fran Tarkenton, and Phil Simms are four names that come to mind when I think of best ever..
