Please share your most sincere Giants vs Cowboys stories & thoughts here. I remember this intense and fun rivalry going back to the funky 70's. I imagine they travel a whole lot better today than back in the those early day's!! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

My best Cowboy vs Giants memory was the crying session by T.O. during the post game press conference after last years playoff game. Also as far as I am concerned the victory against the Cowboys in the playoffs last year was the Giants top victory vs. the Cowboys. Just a note: The NFL network will be showing a Giants vs. Cowboys game at 9pm 12 Dec, unfortunately it is a loss. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Here's one. Back in the eighties the Giants were playing the 'Boys in the Meadowlands. Gary Hogeboom was the quarterback and LT was having one of his "lights out" games. According to a friend of mine, who was friendly with ex-Giant Jack Stroud, Tom Landry and Stroud had dinner that night. During the dinner Landry, who wasn't one for cussing and ranting, told Stroud that when Hogeboom was in the huddle he just kept repeating, "Who the f... is blocking 56?" I don't think Gary was the first one to express those sentiments.
Another memory I have is of attending the first Giant vs. Cowboy game, which was played at Yankee Stadium in 1960. I believe the Cowboys played each team in the thirteen team league once. The 'Boys ended the year win-less, expect for that game against the Giants, which ended tied at 31. Many thought that since Landry had just gone to Dallas from the Giants' coaching staff that he was able to use his superior knowledge of the Giants to come up with the surprising result.

Awesome stories, thanks. A tie Giants Vs Cowboys game in 1960 huh, maybe McNaab ought to read up on his NFL history, ties do happen!! Hope Spags with the Rams is not the next coach Landry using his inside knowledge of the Giants to win any games they play!!
