ARNIE HERBER'S BIO
Herber played for the Giants in 1944 and 1945. Pro football’s first great long passer, Herber was the NFL passing leader in 1932, 1934 and 1936. Herber left retirement in 1944 to lead the Giants to the NFL Eastern crown. He also played for the Green Bay Packers from 1930-40, and ranks fifth in Packers annals with 64 career touchdowns.
