If you could put 2 new NFL franchises anywhere in the country, who and where would they be?
I would create a franchise in Los Angeles and New Jersey. Jay Z can expand on the Atlantic Yards project to accommodate 50-60 thousand people in a dome. Let the New Jersey NFL franchise play there for a few years. Let Magic Johnson and his people handle Los Angeles. The Los Angeles coliseum would be home to start out there. Names could be New Jersey Monarchs and Los Angeles Stars.
What changes would you make to the Giants uniforms if you could?
I wouldn't change anything with the current uniforms but I would add new alternative jersey into the mix. Someone once suggested using the 1986 blue Giants jersey and the old 1986 helmets as the alternate. I've liked the idea since the first time I heard it.
Will the New York Giants make it back to the playoffs in 2011?
Yes, I believe they will be back in it this year. The past two seasons have been plagued with injuries. They've had over 25 players go on the IR list over the past two years. A healthy Giants team could run the table when things start clicking. The Giants have still made the playoffs quite a bit this decade (2000-2010) with six visits to the post season (2000, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008). It is double the production the team had in the 1990's (1990-2000), where they only made it to the playoffs three times (1990,1993,1997).
Which New York Giants players do you expect to be voted into the 2011 Pro Bowl?
There is no way the Giants are going to miss a third straight year of playoffs. The reason I know this is because I expect a record breaking season in 2011. Especially at the WR position. I like the following players to have career years this season.
1. QB Eli Manning
2. WR Steve Smith
3. OL Chris Snee
4. S Antrel Rolle
5. CB Terrell Thomas

The New York Giants winning Super Bowl XLII by beating the undefeated (18-1) New England Patriots 17-14. The road to get there was even more impressive.

Quarterback Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

Quarterback Eli Manning, New York Giants
Single worst blown call by a ref of all time:
The New York Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers Wildcard game back in 2002. I almost ripped the TV off the wall and threw it through a window, enough said!
What was the worst trade in sports history?
Boston sending Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees for theater debt money. Some believe an 86 year old curse was put on the Red Sox for caring so little about baseball. It is taboo to even mention the Babe's name in bean town. And forget about mentioning Bucky Dent or Aaron Boone. Boston fans are haters!

The Giants dominate the Chicago Bears on their 2nd preseason game by winning 41-13. The game claimed a few players though and the G-Men will lose CB Terrell Thomas and CB Brian Witherspoon for the entire 2011 season. They have also lost rookie DT Marvin Austin for the whole year. These injury plagued season for the past three years have become disgusting for fans to endure. Let's see whta magic GM Jerry Reese can perform with 2 1/2 weeks until the regular season begins.

The Giants lost 20-10 against the Panthers last night. The offense needs work and the special teams were just horrible. the defense looked good but still gave up big players and 20 points. I'm thinking they just needed to shake the rust off and will come back better next weekend.

The 2011 NFL lockout is officially over as both the players and owners agree on a new 10 year deal. Expect things to get crazy from this moment on. Everything will be rushed on a short schedule to prepare for the long season ahead. The Giants have a ton of issues to address and most notably the free agents that need tending to. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for the next two weeks where I expect some major changes to occur.

The Giants have officially cancelled their 2011 training camp up at the University of Albany. The time constraints proved to be too much to overlook any longer with the NFL lockout now reaching 119 days. The G-Men will hold training camp at the Timex Performance Center in East Rutherford this year instead of the traditional upstate New York location.
